Cynthia von Buhler is a multitalented visual artist, illustrator, author, playwright, director, producer, performer, and wildlife rehabilitator based in New York City. Her diverse skill set encompasses fine art, children's book writing and illustration, freelance illustration, graphic novel creation, theater, performance, immersive theater production, reportage journalism, screenwriting, gallerist activities, set design, location leasing for film and photography, and music.

She pursued her education in art and humanities at Richmond, The American International University in London, obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine and Studio Arts from Lesley University, completed an Associate's Degree in Children's Book Illustration at The Art Institute of Boston, and studied screenwriting at The New School.
