Cynthia Sum

Cynthia Sum is a highly experienced events specialist with a comprehensive background in coordinating marketing events.

With over 500 events under her belt, Cynthia's roles have included managing media coverage, venue arrangements, paperwork, and client/vendor communications.

Her specialties include Sales Force CRM, Thriva Data Management, and proficiency in MS Office tools.

Cynthia's educational journey includes a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Waterloo, a Certificate in Event & Meeting Management from George Brown College, and a Diploma in Marketing from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology.

She has held positions at various prestigious organizations such as the Ontario Real Estate Association, where she served as an Events Specialist and previously as an Administrative Coordinator and Coordinator at the Real Estate College.

Prior to her time at the Ontario Real Estate Association, Cynthia occupied roles with the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA), Canadian Institute of Travel Counsellors, Syneron, and CWPR Marketing as an Events & Publication Coordinator, Events Coordinator, and Account Manager, respectively.
