Cynthia Stamelos

Cynthia Stamelos is a newly graduated Physician Assistant with a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Practice from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She is a Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) and is set to embark on her career as a General Surgery Physician Assistant at NorthShore Highland Park Hospital.

Before her advanced studies, Cynthia accumulated significant patient interaction skills while working as a Rehabilitation Aide at Athletico Physical Therapy during her undergraduate years at Northwestern University. She also gained experience at healthcare company Emmi, which is linked with Wolters Kluwer specializing in provider and patient-facing solutions. In her role as a Client Services Associate, Cynthia honed her expertise in customer service, project management, and client communication.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science from Northwestern University, a Master of Science in Physician Assistant from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, and studies at Universidad de Sevilla.

Cynthia's professional journey includes roles as General Surgery Physician Assistant at NorthShore University HealthSystem, Client Services Associate at Emmi, Physician Assistant Shadow at Northwest Community Healthcare, Intern at Clínica Integral de Rehabilitación, Physical Therapy Aide at Athletico, and Summer Intern at Reproductive Genetics Institute. She also served as the Former Vice President of the Physician Assistant Student Class of 2019 at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.

She is eager to explore mentorship and networking opportunities as she begins her career in surgery as a Physician Assistant.
