Crystal is dedicated to assisting individuals in need and is a firm believer in dispelling the stigma surrounding mental health through education, dialogue, and compassion.

Her academic journey includes a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with a Specialization in Marriage & Family Therapy from National University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from San Diego State University-California State University.

She has held various roles in esteemed organizations such as Mental Health Case Management Clinician at the County of San Diego, Counselor at Jackson House, Psychiatric Social Worker at Alvarado Parkway Institute Behavioral Health System, Therapist Intern at Veteran's Village of San Diego, Behavioral Health Unit Clerk at Paradise Valley Hospital, and Computer Tutor Intern at Gary and Mary West Senior Center.
