Cristina Velez is a highly accomplished legal professional with a diverse background in immigration law.

She holds a Juris Doctor degree and has pursued her education at prestigious institutions such as Cornell Law School and Oberlin College.

With an impressive career trajectory, Cristina has held key roles in various esteemed organizations.

Currently, she serves as a Senior Staff Attorney at the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild.

Prior to this, Cristina was the Director of the Immigrant Advocacy Project at Queens Legal Services.

Her experience also includes working as a Staff Attorney at the NYU Immigrant Defense Initiative and as a Supervising Attorney in the Immigration division at HIV Law Project/Housing Works.
