Cristina Majorano
Cristina Majorano is the Global Food Security/Programme & Policy Officer at the World Food Programme (WFP), working with the Global Food Security Cluster.12 She is an Italian national with extensive experience in the humanitarian sector.13
Cristina holds an undergraduate degree in public administration from Bocconi University, Italy, and a master's degree in development economics from the University of East Anglia, UK.1 She has worked for 12 years with NGOs in both emergency and development contexts, both in the field and at headquarters.1

- Coordination, monitoring, and evaluation
- Food assistance and livelihoods support
- Nutrition, health, WASH, and protection
Cristina has been deployed to various countries, including Sudan, Myanmar, Indonesia, Kenya, DRC, Chad, and Jordan.1 She has also supported operations in Ethiopia, Uganda, Cote d'Ivoire, Rwanda, Afghanistan, and Yemen.1
In addition to her native Italian, Cristina is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.13
