With a background in healthcare, tourism, and media, Christina has been instrumental in designing award-winning experiences with a significant impact.
She is a pioneer in data-driven design and ecosystem impact, known for launching usability labs and creating the first Patient Experience department in a Spanish hospital.
Christina is actively involved in teaching, collaborating with Design, Engineering, and Business schools, and has directed Innovation & Design Management Master's Degree programs.
She is also engaged in social innovation as a board member and mentor of startups focused on social impact.
Christina Bustillo holds a diverse educational background, including studies in Telecommunications Engineering, Audiovisual Communication, Journalism, Video & Television Production, Geography & History, and Psychology.
Her professional experience includes roles such as Solutions Strategy Director at Designit, Strategic Design Director at Wipro Limited, and Chief Experience Officer at Barcelona Children's Hospital Sant Joan de Déu.
She has also worked with organizations like Bau Design University College of BCN, Catalan Tourist Board, La Salle Technova Barcelona, and Grupo Planeta among others.
