Cristina Bejarano is a seasoned planner and urban designer with 16 years of experience in architecture, environmental planning, and design.
Currently, a Senior Associate at WRT, she focuses on advancing resilience and adaptation practices, aiding communities in planning for an inclusive, environmentally-responsible future.

Before specializing in adaptation planning, Cristina contributed to the development of university master plans, urban infill projects, wayfinding programs, and interactive maps, emphasizing sustainable development for walkable neighborhoods, public transportation, ecological systems, and inclusive public spaces.
Cristina completed her education with a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master's degree in City Planning from UC Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis.
She has held various roles including Senior Associate, Lecturer, Planner, Urban Designer, Graduate Student, and Designer in organizations like WRT, UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design, Hatch, Pyatok Architects, Inc, Landor Associates, and Beyer Blinder Belle.
