Cristan Herbert

Cristan Herbert is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Medical Sciences at UNSW Sydney with a focus on Pulmonary Inflammation research.
As the Head of the Pulmonary Inflammation Research group, he leads investigations into inflammation mechanisms in chronic lung diseases such as asthma and COPD.
Cristan Herbert is actively involved in teaching introductory Pathology courses for students in year 2 of the Medical Science and Exercise Physiology Programs.
He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pathology from the University of New South Wales and has a background in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Wollongong.
