Crisarla Houston

Crisarla Houston is an accomplished attorney, mediator, and professor of law with expertise in various fields such as estate planning, legal research and writing, business law, employment law, and criminal law. She obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Harvard Law School and Bachelor's degree in Finance from Hampton University.

As an attorney-at-law with her own practice, Houston specializes in estate planning for clients in Houston and Waco. Alongside, she conducts mediations and teaches law courses such as legal research and writing, appellate advocacy, business law, criminal law, and criminal procedure. She also mentors aspiring lawyers by enhancing their written and oral communication skills, preparing them for college and career readiness.

Houston has leveraged her knowledge and experiences as a former associate professor and legal writing program director at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law, and as an adjunct instructor of criminal law and criminal procedure at Columbia College of Orlando.
