Craig Ridenour

Craig Ridenour is a seasoned state tax professional with over 30 years of experience in public accounting and private industry.

In his role as the RSM SALT National Practice leader, Craig manages a team of more than 450 SALT professionals, guiding the development and delivery of various tax services including income/franchise tax, sales and use tax, credits and incentives, M&A, and controversy services.

Apart from overseeing the national state income/franchise tax group, Craig also acts as a SALT relationship partner for key clients, offering strategic direction and leadership.

With a broad expertise encompassing state income tax planning, tax compliance, M&A, tax policy, sales and use tax, and property tax matters, Craig has worked with a diverse client base ranging from mid-market to Fortune 50 companies.

Craig's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Central Michigan University and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Wayne State University.

Throughout his career, Craig held various leadership positions, including being the National Leader of the State and Local Tax Practice, State and Local Tax - East Region Leader at RSM US LLP, and a State and Local Tax Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Prior to his advisory roles, he served as a Corporate Staff Accountant at Guardian Industries Corp.
