Craig Muzilla

Craig Muzilla is a distinguished professional who has led multiple core business lines at Red Hat, specializing in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Middleware, and OpenShift Cloud Services. He has also overseen cross-portfolio programs and business lines, such as Vertical Markets, Red Hat Developer Program, and Red Hat Partner Ecosystems, as well as the core OpenShift Business Unit.

With a career spanning over thirty years, Craig has accumulated extensive experience in general management, product development, business growth, and marketing across a wide range of companies, from large corporations to venture capital-backed emerging technology firms.

Prior to joining Red Hat, Craig held executive positions at renowned companies like Lotus Development Corporation, Bowstreet (later acquired by IBM), Samsung Electronics, and MetaMatrix (subsequently acquired by Red Hat).

Craig Muzilla pursued his education at The Ohio State University, where he completed his BA, and later attained an MBA from the Boston University Questrom School of Business.

He has held various key roles throughout his professional journey, including Senior Vice President of the Core Products and Cloud Services Business Group, formerly serving as the Senior Vice President of the Application Platforms Business Group, Vice President & General Manager of the Middleware Business Unit at Red Hat, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Business Development at MetaMatrix, Inc. (acquired by Red Hat), and Vice President of Strategy & Marketing at Avaki Corporation (acquired by Sybase).
