F. M. and Ada Thompson Professor of Biblical Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary
Craig Keener is a prominent American biblical scholar and theologian, currently serving as the F. M. and Ada Thompson Professor of Biblical Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary since 2011. He earned his Ph.D. in New Testament and Christian Origins from Duke University (1987-1991) and has since established himself as a leading figure in the field of New Testament studies, particularly known for his work on the cultural backgrounds of biblical texts.

Craig Keener is married to Dr. Médine Moussounga Keener, who holds a Ph.D. from the University of Paris 7. Recognition
