Cphq Dr. Alia K Dandashli

Dr. Alia K Dandashli is a highly accomplished professional with a background in healthcare quality, risk management, and organizational excellence.

Currently serving as the Vice President for Strategy and Organizational Excellence at National Medical Care, she is also the Director of Quality Improvement and Risk Management for all Business Units of the company.

Dr. Dandashli holds a PhD in Public Health from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom, a Master of Public Health from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the American University of Beirut.

She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality with additional certifications in FCCS and FDM from the Society of Critical Care Medicine, USA, ISO 22000:2005 and ISO 19011:2002 Lead Auditor, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and Balanced Scorecard Professional from George Washington University and Balanced Scorecard Institute.

Her expertise extends to various areas including disaster management, healthcare quality, Lean Six Sigma, and Balanced Scorecard implementation.

Dr. Dandashli has a rich educational background with certifications in Lead Auditing, Lean Six Sigma, and Balanced Scorecard strategies.

She has served in key roles such as Advisor to the Deputy Minister of Health for Planning & Transformation at the Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia, Consultant at Joint Commission Resources, and various positions within National Medical Care including Vice President, Corporate Director of Quality, and Head of Quality Improvement and Risk Management Department.

With previous experience as a Chemist and Public Health Specialist at the Ministry of Environment in Lebanon, Dr. Dandashli brings a diverse skill set to her leadership roles in healthcare quality and organizational excellence.
