Cox Bogaards

Cox Bogaards is a passionate individual working in the research space with a focus on development economics and data. Having spent a significant amount of time in Africa, particularly Ethiopia, Cox has developed a keen interest in exploring different parts of the world. With a background in political science and economics, Cox combines strong quantitative skills with a deep understanding of policy-making processes to contribute to evidence-based decision-making.

Currently serving as a Research Assistant at the Development Impact Evaluation (DIME) within the World Bank, Cox is actively involved in supporting impact evaluations on school-based programs in low- and middle-income countries. Cox's educational background includes studies in International Trade, Finance and Development with a specialization in Economic Analysis from the Barcelona School of Economics and Liberal Arts and Sciences with a focus on Global Challenges from Leiden University College The Hague.

Previously, Cox has held positions at various organizations including roles as an Innovations Associate, Research Associate, and Research Analyst at Laterite, and as an Economist/Researcher at Economisch Instituut voor de Bouw. Cox's diverse experience and expertise make them a valuable asset in the field of research and development economics.
