With a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Technology Management from the University of Notre Dame and additional studies at prestigious institutions like Stanford University and Seth Godin's altMBA, Covington has a solid educational foundation.

Passionate about human-centered design, Covington has honed his expertise through various workshops including The Marketing Seminar, The Freelancer's Workshop, The Bootstrapper's Workshop, and The Story Skills Workshop. This passion for design is evident in his roles as a Compound Coach at Compound Coaching and a former Coach at Seth Godin's altMBA.

Furthermore, Covington has a diverse professional background having served as a 'Marketing​ Guy' at Stupid Good Coffee, a Developer at Simply Good Work, a Freelance Web Developer for various small businesses, and an Educational Technology Specialist at Good Shepherd Episcopal School.
