Courtney Symons

Courtney Symons is a seasoned professional with a diverse background spanning journalism, writing, editing, and marketing. She currently holds the position of Senior Writer at Shopify, where she previously served as the Editor in Chief and Lead Writer for CEO Tobi Lütke, in addition to leading the Shopify Partner Marketing Team. Courtney played a pivotal role in launching the Shopify Web Design & Development Blog and creating various informative pieces such as guide books, webinars, and the Grow book series. Prior to her current role, she worked as a journalist focusing on technology and business news, specializing in Ottawa's tech scene and contributing to print, radio, and online media.
