Courtney Miller is an accomplished neurobiologist, researcher, and biopharma consultant with expertise in drug discovery and development. With a Ph.D. in Neurobiology from UC Irvine and a Certificate in Technology Ventures from UAB School of Business, Miller is a Kauffman Fellow Finalist and former Associate Professor of Neuroscience and Molecular Medicine at The Scripps Research Institute. Miller's research program at The Scripps Research Institute aims to develop novel therapeutics for substance use disorder, cancer, and PTSD.

Miller is recognized for her expertise in scientific, market, management, and financial due diligence for biopharma venture investments. She has consulted for start-up and established companies, providing expertise in scientific, market, and management needs. Her diligence work includes lifespan analysis, target validation strategies, IP reviews, clinical trial strategy development, and much more.

Miller's other notable accomplishments include being a Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers recipient awarded by President Obama while at The Scripps Research Institute.
