Courtney Akinniyi, M.Ed.

Courtney Akinniyi is a committed education professional with an impressive background in higher education administration, recruitment, retention, and outreach. With a Master of Education degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Central Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Pacific Lutheran University, Akinniyi embodies a wealth of academic and professional experience.

Akinniyi has held several roles in various organizations, including her current role as an HR Recruitment and Retention Specialist at Highline Public Schools. Previously, she worked as a New Student Advising Specialist at Bellevue College, an Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator at Clover Park Technical College, and an Aerospace Grants Program Assistant, also at Clover Park Technical College. Additionally, Akinniyi served as a Diversity Advocate for Peer Education and held Auxiliary Services/Conferences and Events roles while at Pacific Lutheran University.

As an education professional and advocate, Akinniyi has a passion for removing barriers and providing education access to build stronger communities. Her extensive experience and drive have allowed her to make a significant contribution to the education sector.
