Cory Sheedy

Cory Sheedy is the Chief of Staff for the Kansas Senate Democrats.12 He holds a law degree from Washburn University School of Law and is based in Lawrence, Kansas.2
Sheedy assumed his current role as Chief of Staff relatively recently. In December 2020, he was hired by the incoming Senate Minority Leader to replace Kerry Gooch, who had been serving as the chief of staff to the outgoing Senate Minority Leader Anthony Hensley.3
Prior to his current position, Sheedy had experience working with the Kansas Senate Democrats in some capacity.3 However, he had also previously worked on Democratic Governor Laura Kelly's staff before taking on his current role.5
