Cort Cass

Cort Cass is a seasoned entertainment executive currently serving as the Vice President of Drama Development at ABC Signature. With a career spanning 17 years at Walt Disney Television, he has held various key positions, including Vice President of Comedy Development at ABC Signature. Mr. Cass is instrumental in developing and overseeing series for broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms. Notable projects under his guidance include dramas like QUEENS and PROMISED LAND, as well as the acclaimed comedy BLACKISH, which received both Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. His contributions extend to streaming platforms, where he brought to life the David E. Kelley drama BIG SHOT for Disney+. Currently, he is actively involved in filming several pilots for Hulu and Freeform. Throughout his career, Mr. Cass has been behind a string of successful series such as STUMPTOWN, HAPPY ENDINGS, AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE, and GRANDFATHERED, among many others.
