Corrie Donovan
Corrie Donovan, a native of Fort Worth, TX, is a talented soprano who holds a Masters degree in Vocal Performance from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor's Degree from Texas Christian University. She is making a mark in the opera world with her charismatic energy, currently serving as the Soprano Young Artist for the Fort Worth Opera Studio Program. Donovan has portrayed notable roles such as Little Red, Dorabella, The Soprano in Philip Glass’s Hydrogen Jukebox, and Venus in Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld. Her performances extend to various opera theaters and colonies, showcasing her versatility in roles like Juliette in Roméo et Juliette and Minnie Fay in Hello Dolly. She has been recognized with awards such as the Most Promising Vocalist prize in the USA World Showcase Tour in Las Vegas, cementing her place as a remarkable talent in the opera scene.
