Corky Collier is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in business, environmental advocacy, and political engagement. Since 2004, he has served as the Executive Director of the Columbia Corridor Association, focusing on various issues impacting Oregon's largest economic corridor, such as transportation, land use, equity, and natural resources. Corky played a pivotal role in establishing and overseeing business education programs like ResourceFull Use and the Groundwater Protection Program. Prior to this role, he co-owned a whitewater outfitting company in northern California from 1987 to 1998, where he successfully integrated business and environmental concerns to drive collaborative initiatives. Corky also led a ballot measure campaign in 1998 to safeguard small business interests, which garnered overwhelming support. His involvement extends to several notable organizations, including the Multnomah County Drainage District Board, Portland Freight Committee, Columbia Slough Watershed Council, and Brownfield Redevelopment Coalition.
