    Corina Sandu is a highly accomplished professional with a strong academic background in Mechanical Engineering and Terramechanics.

    She holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering specializing in Multibody Dynamics and Terramechanics from the University of Iowa, where she also completed her Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Vehicle Dynamics.

    Corina Sandu received her Engineer Diploma in Fine Mechanics from University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest and her high school diploma in Mechanics from Colegiul National Sfantul Sava Bucuresti.

    Currently, Corina Sandu serves as the Director of the Terramechanics, Multibody, and Vehicle Systems (TMVS) Laboratory at Virginia Tech.

    Prior to her current role, she held the position of Associate Department Head for Graduate Studies and was a Professor at Virginia Tech. She has also served as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at the same institution.

    Corina Sandu has also contributed to the academic community as an Instructor/Visiting Faculty member at Michigan Technological University.
