Corey Timpson

Corey Timpson is a passionate advocate for meaningful and inclusive storytelling, focusing on trans and mixed-media, multi-sensory design. With a rich background in experience design and digital media, Corey has held significant roles in the museum and cultural industries. As the former Vice President of Exhibition, Research, and Design at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR), he led all exhibition programs, research, design, and production initiatives. Corey played a pivotal role in interpreting challenging subjects through a multi-sensory, transmedia storytelling approach, while also championing inclusive design and accessibility practices.

Before his tenure at the Human Rights Museum, Corey spearheaded design and architecture teams at the Canadian Heritage Information Network, overseeing projects of digital innovation with various cultural institutions globally. Corey's expertise lies in fostering interactive and dialogic experiences using mixed-media, digital technology, and immersive environmental design. His commitment to rich experience design, sustainability, and inclusivity has earned him over 30 prestigious international awards across environmental, exhibition, graphic design, digital and interactive media, film, and universal design categories.
