Corey Marini is a highly accomplished risk management and internal audit executive with over 19 years of experience in the field. He is well-versed in departmental start-up and transformation, risk assessment, project management, quality assurance, and staff development. Moreover, Corey has a strong academic background, having studied BS at Colorado State University and MBA at Keller Graduate School of Management. He holds numerous certifications, including Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), to name a few.

Having worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Director at PwC, Audit Director at Kaiser Permanente, and Technology Risk at Protiviti, Corey has a broad range of expertise in such areas as governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC), information security, enterprise risk management (ERM), among other things. He also shares his knowledge with students as a former Adjunct Professor at the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, where he taught internal audit.

Corey is a highly respected figure in the field and has served on several professional boards and advisory committees in the past, including the IIA Board of Governors, Denver Chapter, at The Institute of Internal Auditors, and the Audit Committee Member at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
