Climate and DRR Team Leader
Corey Fortin is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Regional Officer with the Green Climate Fund, focusing on managing relationships between governments in the Asia Pacific region and the Fund. With a background in the United States Foreign Service through USAID, Corey has extensive experience in designing and managing development projects in the agriculture and environment sectors.
Throughout the past 11 years, Corey has been actively involved in various regions and countries including East and Southern Africa (Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia) and Asia/Pacific (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Solomon Islands, South Korea, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu). Corey's expertise lies in capacity building, delivering readiness grants, and preparing countries to efficiently access and manage resources from the Global Climate Fund.
