Conor Russomanno is a versatile professional with a background in civil engineering, design, neurotechnology, and education. Holding a Bachelor of Science from Columbia Engineering in Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics with a focus on 3D modeling & animation, he furthered his education with a Master of Fine Arts in Design + Technology from Parsons School of Design. His academic journey began at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology where he completed his H.S. Diploma.
Throughout his career, Conor has been associated with prominent organizations in various capacities. He was the Founder & CEO of OpenBCI, a Research Affiliate at MIT Media Lab, Director of Advanced Interfaces at Meta Co., and held adjunct professor roles at New York University and Parsons School of Design. Conor also showcased his skills as a Front-End Engineer at Felix, and as a Founder, Researcher, and Developer at the Brain Interface Lab.
Conor Russomanno's multifaceted professional experience extends to roles such as Teaching Fellow in Code at Parsons School of Design, Assistant Rugby Coach at Columbia University, and positions at the NSF-Funded CyberGRID Networks Lab where he served as Art Director, 3D Modeler, Animator, and 3D Computer Graphics Teacher's Assistant. Additionally, he gained valuable experience through a summer internship at the U.S. Department of Energy.
