CreditInfo UK t/a Coremetrix offer a revolutionary way of assessing Credit & Risk.

In August 2016 Creditinfo Group acquired VisualDNA's Credit & Risk division and the team are now focused on integrating our solutions and adding to the CreditInfo Group.

Rather than focusing solely on credit bureau data Coremetrix can assess an individual's personality and use a statistical model to predict that individual's probability of default in a loan environment, or propensity to claim in an insurance context.

Not everyone can access credit for reasons of history or geography, but everyone has a personality. Coremetrix quizzes are, in real time, unlocking credit that’s safe and profitable to the lender on that basis of who people are, not what they can prove.

Our credit product is revolutionary for "thin-file" and marginal decline cases but we can also work with lenders to improve the conversion and performance of their "thick-file" populations.

Also our insurance product can help motor insurers better understand and price their risks, our detailed analytics can massively improve predictiveness for claims frequency and severity, with highest uplift in high risk, young driver segments. 

We are based in London, but can deploy our solution anywhere and can localise our quizzes according to local languages, customs and societal norms. Furthermore we build bespoke credit models for every client and continuously iterate to improve them as we receive more performance data.

In my role here I am responsible for integrating new and existing clients with the CreditInfo UK platform. I play an active role with both external and internal teams to ensure projects are seamlessly executed, acting as a technical point of contact during commercial discussions and client meetings, working with our in-house tech and analytics teams to develop solutions to support our clients and to release new features. I also work with our tech team to develop and improve our platform.

LIBS are the largest network for Irish professionals in London with a membership base of circa 5,000 professionals across a range of industries.

The LIBS team run a range of events focused on different topics that will be of interest to our members as well as professional mentoring programmes.

LIBS is fully funded by partner income and all team members actively seek introductions with influential Irish companies who may be interested in partnering with LIBS.

I am responsible for the running of our technology, including website, databases, event booking platforms and membership engagement platforms. I also led our GDPR compliance efforts and an active program to encourage members to re-sign up for the society.

Having joined Zopa in June 14 with the role of QA Test Analyst my role quickly evolved. We operate a small, but extremely talented and productive, technology team at Zopa and I quickly assumed responsibility for the delivery process.

Therefore in January 2015 I was promoted to the role of QA & Delivery Manager.

At Zopa I am responsible for the review and delivery of new technology into production. We work collaboratively, using Agile methodologies throughout the delivery process. This means working with Product Owners and designers, developers, management and the wider business to ensure releases are delivered smoothly, and that new products meet business goals and expectations. As we place a heavy focus on automated testing I am also responsible for reviewing tests written, confirming the adequacy of test coverage and identifying test constraints or gaps in test coverage. When appropriate I am also responsible for arranging and monitoring User Acceptance Testing and obtaining acceptance from the business. 

This is an extremely interesting and challenging role in a company with an excellent culture and ethos. Our in-house development team rapidly produce new code and this is merged and shipped frequently. Our philosophy is one of ship early and ship often, then constantly iterate and improve.

I'm a great believer in the P2P and crowdfunding models and what they can add to both the local and global economies.

Tech Delivery Manager

Planning and execution of all testing for the personal lines area ensuring the successful delivery of change within agreed timelines.
Participation in SPRINT planning sessions, SCRUM meets, and review sessions as part of an Agile project management process.
Engaging with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers and Business Owners (Pricing, Operations and Risk) to design and deliver projects.
Work with in-house and outsource development staff to deliver new software an d enhancements to existing software for use by the business.
Supervising and reviewing the preparation of test scripts and testing activity by our Test    Analysts.

RSA Insurance Ireland Ltd.

Senior Test Analyst

RSA Insurance Ireland are the largest insurer in the Irish market. Based in the Personal Lines department I have been working with both business to business and with end customers as a CIP qualified Underwriter. This role comprises the following skill set:
Customer Service
Sales - New Business and Retention of existing business
Providing solutions to a variety of customer problems and queries.
Whitelabel development and outsourcing.
Business Information Systems development.

In particular I made use of my specialist product knowledge and past experience with a large  intermediary that was outsourcing their book of personal lines business to a Whitelabel solution. RSA took on the administration and upkeep of these customers and catered for their insurance needs. This project was a major success story with strong retention of the portfolio.

Additionally the role involves extensive interaction with end customers where Underwriters are required to analyse and diagnose customer issues, queries and providing solutions to the satisfaction of customers. The role also involves customer complaint and conflict resolution.

Underwriter - Personal Insurances

LHW are a well-developed insurance brokerage with business developed in personal, commercial and life and pensions markets. 

Between December 2007 and January 2009 I was based in the Life and Pensions department in a business development role providing support for both business to business sales and to end customers. Business to business sales were in conjunction with a partner firm involved in the property finance market. End customers required a number of solutions to their financial needs including:
•	Mortgage Protection cover for new mortgages, refinancing and investment properties
•	Protection policies to provide financial stability to customers in event of death
•	Serious illness and Income Protection
•	Key-man insurance for SMEs

Additionally in this role I was critically involved in a large scale "rollover" project to transfer the existing book of business to a specialised scheme product in partnership with one of Ireland's largest insurers.
