Colin Mansell

Colin Mansell is the CEO and Founder of Skills Union, a leading organization collaborating with tech employers and universities to deliver live online skills coaching and training, addressing the tech skills gap.

With an extensive background spanning two decades in tech and education, Colin has established and managed several businesses, notably Drive, a renowned digital agency that was acquired by Major Tom in 2015, and RED, a prominent design and technology school with campuses in Canada and the UK.

In 2019, Colin took a sabbatical year to work with Katapult, focusing on impact investments while exploring education models in emerging economies across Africa and Asia. He also contributes as a mentor and board advisor at the Simbi Foundation, involved in constructing solar-powered tech classrooms in Uganda and India in partnership with UNHCR.

Colin's dedication to education and innovative learning solutions shines through in his commitment to Skills Union's mission of providing enriching learning experiences, fostering economic opportunities for both learners and instructors, and making a lasting impact through education and training.

His educational journey includes studies at Frensham Heights, a Master's degree in Advertising & Marketing from the University of Leeds, and a Bachelor's degree in Music Technology from Leeds College of Music.
