Co De Kloet

Co de Kloet is a Dutch music producer, composer, musician, and radio presenter who has been working in public radio and television since 1991.5 He was appointed as the Coordinator of Music Management & Entrepreneurship at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam's jazz department on October 1, 2016.1 In this role, he coordinates a team of professionals and works with talented students to develop a course that enhances both artistic and entrepreneurial skills.13

De Kloet has an extensive network in the professional music world, which plays an important role in his work as a coordinator.1 He is also known for his connections in the music industry, notably his friendship with Frank Zappa, about whom he wrote a book titled "Frank and Co" based on their conversations over the years.2

In addition to his work at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, De Kloet is associated with Zivasound and has been involved in Steve Vai's orchestral projects as a "Creative Catalyst".23 His diverse experience in the music industry, including roles as a producer, presenter, and manager, contributes to his expertise in music business and career development for jazz students.4
