Clinton Roy

Clinton Roy is a seasoned Senior Scientific Software Engineer with a diverse background in the technology industry. He is currently employed at Australian Synchrotron as a Senior Software Engineer, following his stint as Lead Organizer at Pycon Australia. Prior to that, Clinton served as a Senior Software Engineer at Bloomberg LP, Netbox Blue, and UQ, to name a few. His expertise spans across several areas including Robotics, Software Engineering, Distributed Systems Technology, and IT.

Clinton is an alumni of The University of Queensland, where he studied and graduated with distinction. He is well-known for his extensive experience and skills in the technology industry, with a track record of successfully designing and implementing complex software systems.

Throughout his career, Clinton has been an enthusiastic participant and leader in many industry conferences and events, including Pycon Australia and LinuxConf. He is a proud member of Humbug and has served as the organization's President. Clinton remains an avid contributer and promoter of open-source software.
