Clint Clifton
Sr. Director of Resource and Research Strategy at North American Mission Board
Clint Clifton is a respected figure in the Christian community, with an extensive background in church planting and pastoral leadership. Raised in Palatka, Florida, Clifton experienced a spiritual transformation during his teenage years, which led him to begin planting churches in and around his hometown. He went on to earn a degree from the Florida Baptist Theological College in 2001, followed by a graduate degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in 2004. Over the years, Clint has served in pastoral roles in several states, and in 2005, he founded Pillar Church near Marine Corps Base Quantico. This church quickly became known for its residency program, which trained church planting leaders and resulted in more than a dozen church plants and two networking projects. Today, Clint is a City Missionary with the North American Mission Board, where he works to establish new churches in the Mid-Atlantic Region and helps churches across the country establish various church planting programs. He has authored several insightful books and articles on church planting, including Church Planting Thresholds: A Gospel-Centered Church Planting Guide and Church Planting Primer.
