Clint played a pivotal role as a founding member of the MLS2Nashville Committee, leading the public relations strategy for bringing a Major League Soccer team to Nashville, which garnered a prestigious Silver Anvil Award from the PRSA.

During his tenure as Assistant Commissioner for Communications and Marketing at the Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development, Clint contributed significantly to attracting major global brands like Beretta USA, Hankook Tire, and UBS to the state under Governors Bill Haslam, Bill Hagerty, and Randy Boyd.

Before his government service, Clint excelled as a journalist and media executive, earning national awards for his editorial leadership at newspapers like the Nashville City Paper, The Lebanon Democrat, and The Tennessean.

He notably served as the national president of the Society of Professional Journalists, championing federal lobbying efforts for a national shield law to protect reporters.

Additionally, Clint's experience extends to the nonprofit sector, where he directed operations at the Beacon Center, overseeing the launch of Tennessee Watchdog, the state's leading investigative reporting website.

Active in his community, Clint contributes his expertise as a board member of the Tennessee Soccer Club and the Wilson Central High School soccer boosters, while also volunteering at Christ Church Cathedral.
