Clifton Thornton is a recent graduate of Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience. Currently, he is working in the Axel Lab at Columbia University under the supervision of Dr. Bianca Jones Marlin, focusing on transgenerational epigenetic inheritance. His professional interests revolve around the intersection of neuroscience and animal welfare. Clifton aspires to pursue either a career in veterinary medicine, specifically working in an animal shelter, or to further his education by obtaining a Ph.D. in Neuroscience. In his leisure time, Clifton enjoys activities such as playing ultimate frisbee, drawing, playing guitar, and training his cat to perform tricks.
