Dr. Cliff Ragsdale holds the prestigious position of Bank of America Professor in the Department of Business Information Technology and is the Academic Director of the Center for Business Analytics at Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business.

He is renowned globally as an expert in leveraging spreadsheets for modeling and supporting business decisions and is the author of the acclaimed textbook Spreadsheet Modeling and Decision Analysis, now in its 8th edition, used worldwide.

With a rich consulting background, Dr. Ragsdale has provided his expertise to esteemed organizations such as The World Bank, Darden Restaurants, and Dominion Energy, among others. He is also a recognized expert witness in spreadsheet forensics.

His vast experience includes developing spreadsheet-based tools for complex problem-solving in various domains like natural gas trading, power generator dispatching, decision support systems, and production optimization.
