Nellis, the founder of Lawndale Christian Legal Center (LCLC), is a legal professional with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Chicago Law School and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. His passion for youth and community service began during a transformative bike journey across the United States, leading to a focus on youth ministry and criminal justice reform.

    In addition to his educational background, Cliff has actively engaged in various legal and community initiatives. Mr. Nellis has explored cross-sector partnerships in Chicago and New Delhi, served in leadership roles with the Circuit Court of Cook County, and actively participates in organizations like the Illinois Juvenile Justice Commission and Chicago Bar Association Legal Aid Committee.
