Currently serving as the Director of Development and Construction Services at Leyline Capital, Clay oversees the construction of renewable natural gas projects and provides invaluable support to Leyline developers.

With over 8 years of experience as an executive, Clay excels in driving business growth, managing operational budgets exceeding $250 million, and leading cross-functional teams to success.

As an experienced General Contractor, Clay has spearheaded the construction of over $720 million worth of renewable energy projects, showcasing his expertise in project lifecycle management.

Before joining Leyline Capital, Clay had a distinguished 25-year career as a Naval Officer, where he managed multi-million dollar operations in various areas of national security, including air combat, logistics, vessel operations, and IT project management.

Clay's diverse skill set includes project management, aviation logistics, combat aviation, surface warfare, nuclear power, and extensive experience as an A-6 Intruder carrier-based attack pilot.

His educational background is equally impressive, with a BS in Civil Engineering from Cornell University, a Masters Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University, and a Construction Management Certificate from Southern Polytechnic University. Clay also holds an Unlimited General Contractor license for North Carolina and South Carolina.
