Claudius Mbemba

Claudius Mbemba is a Seattle-based technology leader with a passion for increasing the representation of BIPOC individuals in the tech and venture capital industries.

Originally from Cameroon and raised in the United States, Claudius has a diverse background that combines his expertise in Computer and Information Sciences, Entrepreneurship/Business, and Spanish.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree from The Ohio State University, where he achieved a 3.5 GPA while studying a varied curriculum.

Currently serving as the CTO at neu, Claudius has held prominent roles in various organizations, including being the Venture Investment Director at Startup Haven and a Co-Founder of neu, a Techstars Seattle 2020 portfolio company.

His professional journey also includes positions such as Board Member and Committee Co-Chair at FIRST Washington, Board Chair at The Ohio State University Alumni Association, and software engineering roles at Microsoft.

Claudius has a background in entrepreneurship, having founded and led Fundstarter, showcasing his leadership skills and business acumen.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Claudius Mbemba is actively involved in mentorship, advising entrepreneurs and engineers, and speaking to technology leaders across the country.
