Claudiare Motley is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of The Forgiveness Project, an organization dedicated to sharing real-life stories of forgiveness to foster understanding and healing. Established in 2004, The Forgiveness Project aims to help individuals reconcile with their pain and move forward from trauma by demonstrating the potential for change and the power of forgiveness.14
In addition to her role at The Forgiveness Project, Claudiare Motley has a significant background in law. She co-founded Motley Consulting International and has been involved in legal practice since 2003, including notable work in Afghanistan, where she was the first foreigner to litigate cases in the country's criminal courts. Her legal expertise spans various areas, including criminal, civil, and commercial law.2
Motley is also recognized for her personal journey of recovery and forgiveness after surviving a violent attack, which was documented in the film When Claude Got Shot. This experience has deeply influenced her work and advocacy, particularly in addressing issues related to gun violence and community healing.3
