She holds a degree in Liderazgo en la Innovación from MIT Sloan School of Management, a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, and a degree in Ingeniera de Sistemas from Universidad de Lima.
Claudia Akamine is the Co-Founder & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Tumi Robotics. Previously, she held various roles at Rimac Seguros y Reaseguros including Healthcare Innovation Manager, Chief of Staff, Gerente de Operaciones y Cobranzas, Gerente de Estrategia y Mantenimiento de Clientes, Sub Gerente Administracion de Clientes de Seguros Personales, Sub Gerente de Transformación y Mejora Continua, and Project Manager.
Prior to her time at Rimac Seguros, Claudia Akamine also worked as Jefe de Soluciones de Negocios at Belcorp, IT Supervisor at Ernst & Young, and Analista de Sistemas at Banco de Credito del Peru.
