Clark Bulleit

Clark Bulleit is the Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder of PROTECT3D, a company specializing in customized 3D printed protective devices for athletes. He co-founded PROTECT3D in July 2019 alongside fellow Duke University football players Kevin Gehsmann and Tim Skapek. The initiative began as a response to a teammate's injury, where they utilized their engineering skills to create anatomically fitting protective gear using advanced 3D scanning and printing technologies.125

Bulleit is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at Duke University School of Medicine, further enhancing his expertise in the intersection of technology and healthcare.47 His work at PROTECT3D focuses on improving athlete safety and performance through innovative, custom solutions that address the limitations of traditional protective equipment.36
