Clarence Wardell

Dr. Clarence Wardell III is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse background in technology, research, and civic engagement.

He currently holds the position of Vice President of Solutions at Results for America, supporting Bloomberg Philanthropies' What Works Cities Initiative and various other local, state, and federal initiatives.

Previously, he made substantial contributions as a member of the U.S. Digital Service at the Obama White House, focusing on strategy, product management, and leading projects in criminal justice and human services.

His work extended to co-leading the White House Police Data Initiative, emphasizing the use of open data to enhance communication between law enforcement and communities.

Clarence's commitment to civic causes led him to co-found the microphilanthropy platform, tinyGive, and engage in research to improve charitable giving.

He has also been affiliated with prestigious organizations such as Harvard's Berkman Center for Internet & Society and served as a Presidential Innovation Fellow.

Clarence's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S.E. in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan.
