Clare Terlouw is the Head of LifeArc Ventures, overseeing direct and indirect investments in the life sciences sector.

With a background in life sciences investment and advisory, Clare manages seed and venture investments, focusing on early translational science.

Acting as an Investor Director on the boards of various venture-backed life sciences companies, she plays a key role in strategic decision-making.

Apart from managing the direct investment portfolio, she also handles LifeArc's LP positions in healthcare funds, contributing to a diverse investment strategy.

Clare's extensive experience includes serving as Head of Corporate Development at Syncona Investment Management Limited, where she focused on business development and corporate finance.

Her tenure as a healthcare investment banker involved advising London-listed companies on a range of transactions, including IPOs, fundraisings, private placements, and M+A activities.

Having studied Physiotherapy at Queen's University and Finance for her MBA at Saint Mary's University, Clare brings a unique blend of healthcare and financial expertise to her current role.
