Transitioning from a career in a large chemical manufacturing company like Johnson Matthey, where she honed her skills over 7 years, Clare embarked on the fulfilling journey of building up Bespoke and Oak Co. from a mere idea.

The decision to sell products through notonthehighstreet proved to be a confidence booster and opened doors to new and exciting opportunities for the business.

Located in the picturesque countryside near the Duchy of Lancaster within the Forest of Bowland, Clare finds inspiration in the natural beauty that surrounds her, evident in the use of natural materials like oak and slate to craft unique and personalized gifts.

Embracing her love for the countryside, Clare leads a small team of creative enthusiasts dedicated to crafting designs in-house, with a shared enthusiasm for both creativity and cake.

Apart from the exquisite creations available, Bespoke and Oak Co. also offers a Bespoke Make and Create service, welcoming collaboration to turn unique ideas into reality.

With a background in studying at the University of Central Lancashire and currently holding the position of Director at Bespoke and Oak Co., Clare Braithwaite continues to thrive in the world of product design and creation.
