Clara Bowyer

Clara Bowyer is the Events and Venue Manager at the Oxford Martin School, University of Oxford.12 She has over 20 years of experience in the events industry within the education sector.3 Clara started at the Oxford Martin School in July 2011 as the Events Officer and was promoted to Events and Venue Manager in February 2014.1

In her role, Clara is responsible for:

1. Developing and managing all Oxford Martin School events, including the termly Lecture series and Distinguished Public Lectures1
2. Overseeing venue bookings for the Lecture Theatre, Seminar Rooms, and Meeting Rooms at the Oxford Martin School1
3. Handling events and venue hire inquiries2

Prior to her current position, Clara worked at the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit as the Personnel/Finance Officer and at Oxford Brookes Students' Union as the Finance/Societies Officer, where she managed over 65 societies with more than 3600 members.1 She holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Sussex and an NVQ Level 4 in Management.1

As of November 2024, Clara has announced that she will be leaving her position at the Oxford Martin School in January 2025 to pursue new opportunities.4
