Claire Wheeler
Claire Wheeler, MD, Ph.D., is a distinguished physician, psychologist, author, and educator with significant experience in stress and trauma management. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Michigan, an MD from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, and a B.A. in Physiology from the University of California, Berkeley.
As a former Assistant Professor at the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health and Senior Faculty Member at The Center for Mind-Body Medicine, Dr. Wheeler has gained significant expertise in stress and trauma management, community-level trauma resilience training, and public health. She is also a former Principal Investigator at Legacy Emanuel Hospital Trauma Center and the University of Michigan.
More recently, Dr. Wheeler served as the Chief Medical Officer at Neolth, Inc. where she applied her experiences in higher education, medicine, survey research, and mental health in an innovative way. She has authored three books, "10 Simple Solutions to Stress," "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Belly Fat Weight Loss," and "Pocket Therapy for Stress," and offers workshops, webinars, and speeches as community service.
