I assisted Prof. Eleanora Mattiacci of the Political Science department with collecting, organizing and analyzing sources for her international relations research.

I was selected as one of 15 fellows to participate in an immersive program to learn more about the worlds of venture capital and startups. As a fellow, I participated in extensive workshops and activities led by prominent investors and Founders, one day per week. I worked with Neosensory, a True portfolio company, four days per week.

For the internship portion of the fellowship, I joined Neosensory, a True portfolio company, to support marketing and user research. My main project consisted of analyzing the success of over 50 different Facebook ad copies using R and Excel. Additionally, I conducted over 10 interviews with potential users, edited video testimonials, created data visualizations and researched new advertising opportunities. 

Neosensory is a wearable hardware company currently developing a wristband that translates environmental sounds into patterns of vibration for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Intern

I worked at an early-stage telehealth startup in the marketing department. In this role, I primarily wrote and designed digital and print collateral for B2B partners and D2C enrollment, including two 60-page cookbooks, flyers, direct mail postcards, business cards, blog posts and email campaigns. I additionally assisted the Marketing Team with tasks as needed, such as fulfillment of printed media, proofreading, and answering customer service phone calls.

Marketing Intern

I led twice-weekly campus tours during the school year for prospective students, families and alumni, with anywhere from 5-50 visitors per tour. I thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to share my love of Amherst, engage with students, and represent my college, while also practicing my public speaking and customer service skills. 

For April 2017, I was recognized as Tour Guide of the Month after receiving exemplary visitor feedback.
