Cl Tian

CL Tian is the CEO and Co-Founder of Phiex Technologies, a company she established in April 2020. Phiex specializes in self-sterilizing packaging and materials, addressing critical challenges in medical device sterilization by replacing outdated methods like Ethylene Oxide (EtO) sterilization. Under her leadership, Phiex has gained recognition, including winning the MedTech Innovator Global Competition in 2022 and other industry accolades.12

Tian has a diverse professional background. Before founding Phiex, she led PINKOA, a business development and marketing agency, for nearly eight years. She also held leadership roles at ACE NextGen, including serving as President of the Boston Chapter and Co-Chair of its Women's Initiative. Additionally, she worked at Harvard University’s Program on U.S.-Japan Relations, further showcasing her expertise in international relations and academia.1

She earned her B.A. Magna Cum Laude from Wellesley College and studied at Waseda University. Tian is multilingual, fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Her entrepreneurial spirit and innovative approach have positioned her as a key figure in medtech innovation.1
