Claude Gendron is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience working with Global Affairs Canada and several other organizations. With a solid background in international trade, management and liberal arts, Mr. Gendron has honed his skills and expertise over the course of his education and his long-standing career. As a Deputy Director of the Southern and Eastern Africa Relations Division at Global Affairs Canada, he has provided leadership and advocacy for trade activities, identifying opportunities for business and investment. He has previously held positions such as a Senior Policy Advisor and a Trade Commissioner at the Trade Sectors Bureau, Aerospace Team and Southern Africa team. His skills extend to communication, strategy, and policy development in the fields of cultural affairs, grants, and contributions. Mr. Gendron is recognized for his work on diverse projects on a global scale, including Counter-Terrorism Capacity Building Program, UNESCO Committee on Diversity of Cultural Expressions, and Redirection of Former Weapon Scientists. He has studied at Harvard University, Université de Montréal, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology - Sloan School of Management.
